De-Race

The Christian race becomes a journey you can play.

A 1–100 Christian race and progression game where players qualify, respond to board events, persevere through setbacks and seek to finish the race.

Full De-Race Christian game board showing the 1 to 100 progression journey and instructional spaces.

Concept & purpose

Designed with a reason to play.

De-Race transforms a numbered race into a Christian learning experience. Its 100 spaces bring together Scripture, encouragement, preparation, responsibility, advances, setbacks and reflection as players move towards the final destination.

The need behind the game

The game uses the familiar logic of a numbered progression structure while giving every journey event a distinct Christian-life meaning.

Biblical learning purpose

Encourage reflection on perseverance, patience, Christian responsibility, spiritual preparation, family commitment, encouragement and finishing the race.

How the experience works

Gameplay at a glance.

Two to four players use one die. Each player must first roll a six to qualify for entry, then roll again to begin movement. Players move through the numbered journey, follow the instructions on event spaces and roll again after a six during the continuation stage. The final row has its own rules: rolls that cannot take a player out of the board leave the player in place while any usable lower result is counted; a six has no repeated-roll effect there.

How to play

The race has three stages.

01Qualify

Roll a six to enter the Christian race, then roll again to begin movement.

02Continue

Move through the 1–100 journey and resolve the instruction on every event space.

03Finish

Navigate the distinct final-row conditions and complete the exit stage correctly.

  1. 01

Choose a colour and take one playing tile.

  2. 02

Roll a six to qualify for the Christian race.

  3. 03

After qualifying, roll again and move through the numbered journey.

  4. 04

Resolve every instruction, direct advance, setback or reflection space you reach.

  5. 05

Roll again after a six during the continuation stage.

  6. 06

In the final row, count only results that can advance the journey; a six does not provide another roll there.

  7. 07

Complete the exit-stage requirements and reach the winning position.

Objective

Qualify, progress through the Christian race, respond faithfully to its events and complete the final stage.

Start

A player must roll a six to enter, then roll again to determine the first movement.

Complete

Finish according to the exit-stage requirements; final-row rolls are handled differently from the continuation stage.

Instructional spaces

Progress, consequence and encouragement.

The board incorporates direct advances, backward movement, reflection spaces and temporary pauses. These turn the race into a practical Christian-learning experience.

Encouragement

The board moves a player from 23 forward by ten steps and sends anointed-for-speed players to box 95.

Responsibility

Some spaces direct players backwards to reconsider spiritual preparation, family commitment or the armour of God.

Reflection

Scripture and memorable prompts invite players to consider perseverance, finishing well and the Christian race.

Scriptural foundation

Purpose built into play.

Encourage reflection on perseverance, patience, Christian responsibility, spiritual preparation, family commitment, encouragement and finishing the race.
